Spicy Yogurt Sauce

Spicy Yogurt Sauce is a homemade sauce that works with everything! This quick and easy yogurt based sauce is made in the food processor!

Equipment

Ingredients

  • 1 cup Greek Yogurt Note 1
  • 2 tablespoon Sriracha sauce
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 2 cloves garlic skin peeled and end cut off
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon cracked pepper

Instructions

  • Add garlic to food processor bowl with dice blade and blitz for 2 -3 seconds
  • Add Greek Yogurt, paprika, Sriracha sauce, salt and pepper, blitz for 2-3 seconds to combine
  • Scrap down the sides of the food processor and blitz 1-2 seconds to combine
  • Recipe make 1 cup of sauce and will keep in the fridge in an Air tight container for 7 - 10 days. Recipe is not suiable to freeze.

Notes

  • Note 1 By all means you can use light Greek Yogurt instead of the full fat version. I find the light version often has more liquid separated initially on top, so either give it a good stir or pour that bit off. This sauce has a thick delightful dollop quality. The full fat is ever so slightly thicker than the light version, but it also much of a muchness.
