Artichoke and Blue Cheese Pizza
- 1 wholewheat pita bread
- ½ cup basil pesto dip
- ½ cup artichokes marinated, hearts
- ¼ cup kalamata olives pitted
Artichoke and Blue Cheese Pizza Method
Preheat your oven to 180 degrees F 82.2 degrees C. Line a baking tray with baking paper
Place pita bread on baking paper
Use ½ the basil pesto dip to cover the pizza base, spread the sprinkle of grated cheese around.
Drain the artichokes hearts, then spread out over the pizza, crumble the blue cheese around and add the kalamata olives.
Cook for 30 minutes, until base is crispy.
- Grab the pesto dip from the fridge section, not freezer section of the supermarket
- The dip will be enough to make 2 pizzas (don't use all as it will overwhelm the flavours)
- I don't use too much extra cheese when making this pizza as I find the blue cheese is enough and don't like drowning all of the good toppings with extra cheese as it really isn't necessary.
