Ingredients

Baked Camembert with Cranberry Sauce

  • 1 wheel camembert cheese Note 1
  • cup cranberry sauce
  • cup walnuts roughly chopped
  • ¼ cup dried cranberries

Instructions

Baked Camembert with Cranberry Sauce

  • Preheat your oven to 180°C / 350-375°F / Gas Mark 4-5
  • Use a pairing knife to gently score the rind of the cheese in both directions (diagonally)
  • Place cheese on a lined flat baking tray and bake for 10 mins⠀⠀⠀
  • Whilst cheese is baking, toast chopped walnuts in a pan on the stove⠀
  • Add cranberry sauce to heat proof jug and microwave for 2-3 mins till sauce is melted
  • Use oven mits to remove baking tray from oven and use a flat utensil to gently slide baked camembert onto serving platter
  • Remove cranberry sauce from microwave and gently spoon over baked camembert
  • Top cranberry sauce with toasted walnuts and dried cranberries

  • Note 1 You will find Camembert in the fridge section with the other cheeses or in the deli cheese with the more fancy specialised cheese. You need 1 x standard 'wheel; (round block) of cheese.
