- 1 kg frozen chips Note 1
- 2 tbs chicken seasoning or salt Note 2
- 1 cup gravy Note 3
Cook the frozen chips according to the packet instructions and your preferred method (ie oven baked, deep fried or Air Fried)
Once the chips are crispy (most methods will take 10 - 15 mins) sprinkle them all over with chicken seasoning or salt
Pour the gravy into a heatproof jug and microwave it according to the packet instructions (usually about 1-2 mins)
Once the gravy is hot, pour over the chips and serve!
- Note 1 You can use your preferred frozen chip, be it crinkle cut, thin cut, extra crunchy or straight.
- Note 2 Chicken seasoning or salt is an all purpose seasoning to add flavour to many dishes. Despite the name, it contains no chicken and is suitable for both vegetarians and vegans.
- Note 3 I use store bought gravy for this recipe as I simply want to make it faster. If you want to make your own gravy you can, or use store bought or from your favorite chicken takeaway store.
