Ingredients

Fruit Platter

  • ¼ watermelon
  • 4 kiwifruit
  • 4 passion fruit
  • 2 punnets strawberries
  • 1 punnet blueberries
  • yogurt to serve
  • 1 bunch green grapes
  • ½ bunch red grapes

Instructions

Fruit Platter

  • Use a knife to cut the kiwifruit Note 1
  • Use a knife to cut the passion fruit in halves
  • Slice the strawberries in halves
  • Cut the watermelon from top to rind, then cute across and into individual pieces
  • Use cookie cutters to cute the fruit into fun shapes Note 2
  • Start building your board with the big fruit pieces. Eg the bunches of grapes, the kiwi fruit and the passion fruit.
  • Follow these with the watermelon pieces.
  • Next use the strawberries to fill in any gaps on the plate
  • Use the blueberries at the end to sprinkle around the platter as the final touch
  • Fill a small bowl with yogurt for serving.

Notes

  • Note 1 To make kiwifruit stars, use a knife and make 45 degree cuts all the way through one rotation of the fruit, then reverse and do the other angle. Simply pull apart. 
  • Note 2 This is a fun idea, however, it can waste a little bit of fruit. So do as you please if you want to make shapes or not.
