Fruit Platter
- ¼ watermelon
- 4 kiwifruit
- 4 passion fruit
- 2 punnets strawberries
- 1 punnet blueberries
- yogurt to serve
- 1 bunch green grapes
- ½ bunch red grapes
Fruit Platter
Use a knife to cut the kiwifruit Note 1
Use a knife to cut the passion fruit in halves
Slice the strawberries in halves
Cut the watermelon from top to rind, then cute across and into individual pieces
Use cookie cutters to cute the fruit into fun shapes Note 2
Start building your board with the big fruit pieces. Eg the bunches of grapes, the kiwi fruit and the passion fruit.
Follow these with the watermelon pieces.
Next use the strawberries to fill in any gaps on the plate
Use the blueberries at the end to sprinkle around the platter as the final touch
Fill a small bowl with yogurt for serving.
- Note 1 To make kiwifruit stars, use a knife and make 45 degree cuts all the way through one rotation of the fruit, then reverse and do the other angle. Simply pull apart.
- Note 2 This is a fun idea, however, it can waste a little bit of fruit. So do as you please if you want to make shapes or not.
