I lived in Japan when I was 21 and it was cold over there. The most heart warming meal we had was ramen and we had it a lot!
Ever since doing more of my own cooking and thinking about flavour combos, a delicious Noodle Bowl is always a go to when I want something a little bit non standard.
Plus, these days, Australia has so many varieties of culturally inspired cuisines that it is almost difficult to not be inspired to do something a little different.
So, I bring you this super easy and delicious Asian Inspired Chicken Noodle Bowl. If you grow your own herbs, best thing is you can throw them in – that is what I did with the basil and coriander, both herbs which are so easy to grow and if you are not eating they, the basil is likely to flower and leaves drop off. Whereas when you are regularly picking the leaves and tending to the plant, it will be your best kitchen friend!
How to make an easy chicken noodle bowl
I have 2 tips to make life easy in this dish, 1) Use precooked leftover chicken or a BBQ cook 2) Use Brown rice noodles, in the cup and the stock as the basis of the dish.
Then the only work you need to do is cut the chilli and lemon, arrange everything in the plate and get your chopsticks out to dig in!
